4+2 CH Motor Driver for DSC
General Description
The RT8750 is a 4+2 (two exclusive control modes)
channel motor driver for DSC application. In total, it provides
4+1 full swing channels, 3+1 constant voltage channels,
and 1 constant current channel. It includes dedicated
control mode for stepping motors in 1-2 phase or 2-2 phase
operation. The RT8750 also provides two photo-interrupters
for motor position detection.
The RT8750 can be controlled via 3 parallel input ports
and a serial input interface. The voltage setting of the
constant voltage drivers and the current setting of the
constant current driver can be configured by 4-bit DACs
via serial input interface. Other features include UVLO,
thermal shutdown, power save mode, and software reset.
Hence, the RT8750 can cover most of the motor
applications in a DSC system.
The RT8750 comes in a small WQFN-20L 3x3 package
to save board space.
