The Atlas SCR is specifically designed to automatically analyse a wide range of Triacs and
Thyristors (SCRs). Connect the part any way round and press test. The part type is identified
(Triac or Thyristor), the pinout is identified and the gate sensitivity is displayed in 1 of 9
sensitivity categories as well as gate voltage. Suitable for parts that require a gate trigger current
from less than 100uA up to 90mA. Load tests are performed with an internally generated load of
12V at 100mA, all from a single AAA alkaline battery (supplied). Not designed for in-circuit
use.
