SPECIFICATION CONTROL DRAWING
MATERIALS
1. INSULATION SLEEVE: Heat-shrinkable, transparent blue, radiation cross-linked modified polyvinylidene
fluoride.
2. INTEGRAL THREE-HOLE INSERT: Low outgassing immersion resistant thermoplastic, color-natural.
3. SEPARATE THREE-HOLE INSERT: Low outgassing immersion resistant thermoplastic, color-natural.
4. CRIMP SPLICER: Base Metal: Copper Alloy 101 or 102 per ASTM B-75.
Plating: Tin per MIL-T-10727, Type 1.
APPLICATION
1. This assembly is designed to provide immersion resistant 2 or 3 to 1 in-line splices wires having a total CMA per
side between 304 and 1510 and insulations rated for at least 135°C.
