The SPS-73200WG series single mode transceivers is small
form factor pluggable module for bi-directional serial
optical data communications such as Gigabit Ethernet
l Compliant with Fiber Channel 1X SM-LC-L FC-PI
1000BASE-ZX and Fiber Channel 1x SM-LC-L FC-PI. It is
l SFF-8472 Digital Diagnostic Function
l 1550 nm DFB LD Transmitter
l APD High Sensitivity Receiver
with the SFP 20-pin connector to allow hot plug capability.
Digital diagnostic functions are available via an I²C. This
module is designed for single mode fiber and operates at a
l 41 dB Power Budget at Least
l Distance up to 200 km
l AC/AC Coupling according to MSA
nominal wavelength of 1550 nm. A guaranteed minimum
optical link budget of 41 dB is offered which can
correspond to a link distance of over 200 km (assuming

1040.11. The transceiver must be operated within the
specified temperature and voltage limits. The optical ports
of the module shall be terminated with an optical connector
or with a dust plug.
