Converter
The MC1408â8 is an 8âbit monolithic digitalâtoâanalog converter
which provides highâspeed performance with low cost. It is designed
for use where the output current is a linear product of an 8âbit digital
word and an analog reference voltage.

⢠Fast Settling Time: 70 ns (typ)
⢠Relative Accuracy ±0.19% (max error)
⢠Nonâinverting Digital Inputs are TTL and CMOS Compatible
⢠Highâspeed Multiplying Rate 4.0 mA/ms (Input Slew)
⢠Output Voltage Swing +0.5 V to â5.0 V
⢠Standard Supply Voltages +5.0 V and â5.0 V to â15 V
