Display Controller Card
The PC8106 display controller supports a wide variety of Flat Panel
Displays ranging from 320x200 up to 640x480. Simple installation
requires one 16 bit ISA bus slot.
Basic Features:
y Monochrome Panels:Colors are converted to 64 gray
shades.
Color Panels: Displays 4096 colors.
y Hardware VGA compatible.
y Vertical centering.
y 512K display memory.
y All display voltages generated onboard.
y Single or dual panel interface.
y Small size: 6.3" x 3.5"
y Low power: 180ma from 5 volt supply
Ordering Information
Currently Apollo Display offers two versions of the PC8106 display
controller, PC8106N-2 and PC8106P-2. The difference between the two
display cards is that the PC8106N develops a negative voltage for LCD
drive whereas the PC8106P-2 develops a positive voltage for LCD drive.
The majority of the OPTREX displays requires a negative LCD voltage.
