Dual 4-Channel Analog
Data Selector
The MC14529B analog data selector is a dual 4âchannel or single
8âchannel device depending on the input coding. The device is suitable for
digital as well as analog application, including various oneâofâfour and
oneâofâeight data selector functions. Since the device has bidirectional
analog characteristics it can also be used as a dual binary to 1âofâ4 or a
binary to 1âofâ8 decoder.

Impedance
This device contains protection circuitry to guard against damage
due to high static voltages or electric fields. However, precautions must
be taken to avoid applications of any voltage higher than maximum rated
voltages to this high-impedance circuit. For proper operation, Vin and
Vout should be constrained to the range VSS ⤠(Vin or Vout) ⤠VDD.
Unused inputs must always be tied to an appropriate logic voltage
level (e.g., either VSS or VDD). Unused outputs must be left open.
