TPEN are constructed with polyester film
dielectric, aluminum foil electrodes, tinned copper
leads, and an outer wrapping of non-inductive
polyester film. Both ends are sealed using an epoxy
resin. TPEN are suitable for use in timing, delay,
and oscillation circuits. Ideal applications include
instruments for telecommunications, i.e. signal
coupling and decoupling.
