EPEM are constructed with a wound polyethylene
terephthalate film dielectric, housed inside a plastic casing,
which is sealed using epoxy resin. The leads are
constructed with oxygen-free tinned copper wires. EPEM
possess self -healing properties and are small in size. They
are ideal for automatic insertion.
