EMPP are constructed with metallized
polypropylene film dielectric, tinned copper leads,
plastic casing, and epoxy resin for sealing. They are
designed for critical applications wherein reliable
operation at high current induced levels is required.
EMPP have a high dv/dt ratio while exhibiting low
loss, high capacitance stability and long life.
