Current Setting
If the application circuit is same as below
The current setting will be
ITAP6 = (1.2V ÷ (RSET6))
ITAP5 = (1.1V ÷ (RSET6 + RSET5))
ITAP4 = (1.1V ÷ (RSET6 + RSET5 + RSET4))
ITAP3 = (1.1V ÷ (RSET6 + RSET5 + RSET4 + RSET3))
ITAP2 = (1.1V ÷ (RSET6 + RSET5 + RSET4 + RSET3 + RSET2))
ITAP1 = (1.1V ÷ (RSET6 + RSET5 + RSET4 + RSET3 + RSET2+ RSET1))
RSET6 = (1.2V ÷ ITAP6)
RSET5 = (1.1V ÷ ITAP5) – RSET6
RSET4 = (1.1V ÷ ITAP4) – RSET6 – RSET5
RSET3 = (1.1V ÷ ITAP3) – RSET6 – RSET5 – RSET4
RSET2 = (1.1V ÷ ITAP2) – RSET6 – RSET5 – RSET4 – RSET3
RSET1 = (1.1V ÷ ITAP1) – RSET6 – RSET5 – RSET4 – RSET3 – RSET2
The MG39133 can sustain an input voltage level as high as 500V. But users should care the heat dissipation
issue for their applications. For large wattage application, the 131 will consumes 2W~3W power. The IC’s heat-
sink should be firmly attached to the substrate. Aluminum or Ceramic PCB is recommended.
Package Thermal Resistance
The thermal resistance is around 66°C /W, junction to ambient (no air flow)
Note: Rule of thumb, it is suggested that the IC surface temperature is maintained below 9°C0 (Celsius degree). For ETSSOP16
package, maintain the power dissipation below 1.5W.
