Audio Input Register (0x05)
Frequency and Amplitude Modulation (FR_AM)
0 = AUX input signal modulates EL output voltage.
1 = AUX input frequency modulates EL output frequency.
AUX Envelope on EL Output (NO_SAMPLE)
1 = The EL output envelope follows that of the AUX
envelope.
0 = AUX is sampled every fEL cycle and the corre-
sponding EL output cycle has zero DC average.
Set FR_AM = 0 when NO_SAMPLE = 1 and enable the
corresponding EL outputs by bits AU[4:1]. If FR_AM =
1, the NO_SAMPLE bit has no effect. If AUX is a DC
value, the EL output peak-to-peak voltage is EL_ (VP-P)
= 250 x AUX (V) with a maximum of 300VP-P. If AUX is a
PWM signal with a frequency from 100kHz to 10MHz,
the EL output voltage is VEL = 300 x DutyCycle% (VP-P).
