Parts Included:
1 - 44 Amp Electronic Points Box
4 - Vibration Mounts
1 - Parts bag including wiring and connectors
4 - RPM Module (PN 8147 only)
MOUNTING
The Electronic Points Box may be mounted in any position as long as it is kept clear of direct
engine heat sources. Use the Box as a template and mark the location of the mounting holes. Make
sure the wiring harness reaches the Pro Mag and Coil. Remove the unit and drill the holes using an
1/8" drill bit. The supplied vibration mounts must be used.
WIRING
The Points Box wires easily to the Pro Mag Generator with a matching 4-Pin connector. After mounting
the box, route the 4-Pin harness to the generator connector. Secure the wires.
PRIMARY COIL WIRES
The primary coil wires may be shortened as long as new connectors are crimped and soldered in place.
Note: It is not recommended to lengthen the coil wires.
  1. The Red lead connects to the coil positive (+) terminal.
  2. Connect the Black lead to the coil negative (-) terminal.
Note: If an RPM Module is not installed (PN 8147 only) there will be no rev limit.
