INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
EZ TRIGGER

EZ TRIGGER ALLOWS THE STOCK COIL TO SEND ALL
NECESSARY INFORMATION TO THE VEHICLE’S ECU.
STEP 1
Locate a convenient position for the EZ Trigger away
from any high heat source such as the exhaust.
Mount the EZ Trigger using the supplied screw or
equivalent.
STEP 2
Leave all existing wiring in place on the stock coil,
except route the coil wire to the coil tower on the
new EZ Trigger instead of the distributor.
STEP 3
Connect the trigger wire for your Mallory HyFire
Ignition or other aftermarket ignition to the “ + ”
terminal on the EZ Trigger.
STEP 4
Connect the “ – ” terminal to ground.
STEP 5
Connect the balance of the ignition wiring as called
out in the ignition’s instructions. Install your second
coil as instructed and route it’s coil wire to the
distributor.
STEP 6
Recheck all connections before starting the engine.
