WIRING TO A STREET FIRE CDI
When installing this coil with a Street Fire CDI, there will only be two wires
making direct contact to the coil terminals: The Orange Wire from the CDI
connects to the coil positive (+) terminal. The small Black wire from the
CDI connects to the coil negative (-) terminal (Figure 1).
The Street Fire Coil is designed to mount in most factory
canister coil mounts. It can be used with points replacement
kits and aftermarket ignitions.
WARNING: During installation, disconnect the battery
cables. When disconnecting the battery, always remove
the Negative (-) cable first and install it last.

STOCK IGNITION
Note: If used with a points distributor, a ballast resistor may
be required.
1. Mark the original coil wires as positive (+) and negative (-)
and remove the wires.
2. Remove the high voltage coil wire (spark plug wire) and
remove the coil from the bracket.
3. Install the Street Fire Coil into the mount and tighten. Install
the wiring and high voltage coil wire.

NOTE: THE MAGNETIC PICKUP WILL NEVER
BE USED AT THE SAME TIME AS THE
WHITE WIRE.
