Subminiature D Stacked
PCB Connectors are mem-
bers of the complete line of
AMPLIMITE Subminiature D
Connector family which
has been accepted by the
electronic industry for their
rugged design and ease of
application.
Stacked connectors add
the advantage of reducing
overall board real estate
normally consumed by indi-
vidual pcb connectors. The
versatility of the AMPLIMITE
HD-20 line enables you to
select the stacked connec-
tor best suited for your spe-
cific application.
AMPLIMITE HD-20 Stacked
Connectors, Series II offer a
high degree of performance
and a reduced cost. The
line consists of:
■ Receptacle over
Receptacle in 9/9, 15/15,
25/25 and 37/37 contact
positions
■ Plug over Plug in 9/9,
15/15, 25/25 and 37/37
contact positions
■ Receptacle over Plug in
9/9, 15/15, 25/25 and
37/37 contact positions
■ Plug over Receptacle
in a total of 9/9,15/15,
25/25 and 37/37 contact
positions
Configurations are available
with a choice of mounting
hardware—4-40 threaded
inserts and female
screwlocks.
Hybrid and Mixed Styles
AMPLIMITE Hybrid and
Mixed Stacked Connectors
combine a variety of
subminiature D connector
configurations into a single
connector. This permits
mixing signal speeds with
a substantial reduction in pc
board real estate.
All AMPLIMITE Stacked and
Mixed PCB Connectors fea-
ture front metal-shells for
EMI/RFI shielding, with
housings made of UL 94V-0
approved material. The
series offers gold plating in
30µ", 10µ" and gold flash on
the mating end and tin plat-
ing on the termination end,
with the entire contact
nickel underplated.
Due to the versatility of the
AMPLIMITE Hybrid and
Mixed lines of connectors
any combination with
an AMPLIMITE HD-20
Connector as the top con-
nector, HD-22 High Density,
and AMPLIMITE .050 Series
as the bottom connector can
be provided based on your
application requirements.
