Step 2:
1. Before the removal tool may be used it must be ensured that, by turning the handle counter clockwise,
the gripper plates are lowered far enough in order for them to be able to bend open while fitted onto the
connector. The lead-in chamfer must be completely visible. In the following this position shall be called
“basic position” (see figure 11).

2. Now the removal tool is fitted onto the connector from above, until the detents snap into the sides of
the connector (see figure 12, 13 and 14).
