Please observe the following precautions to avoid
damage:
Static Sensitivity
Gallium Arsenide Integrated Circuits are sensitive to
electrostatic discharge (ESD) and can be damaged
by static electricity. Proper ESD control techniques
should be used when handling these Class 1A
devices.

Application Information
The MAAL-011130 is designed to for simple
implementation with high performance. The ultra
small size, fully matched, and simple bias application
allows easy placement on system boards.
Bias Adjust Using VB
Pin 4 can be connected to a separate voltage source
to achieve the desired IDD. The amplifier will be
powered down by applying a VB of 0.2 V or less.
The following tables show typical total drain current
(ID_TOTAL = ID_BIAS + IDD , where ID_BIAS is the current
drawn by the VB pin and IDD is the drain current)
versus bias voltage (VB) values for VDD voltages of
5.0 V and 3.3 V. Also shown in each case is a typical
value of RB required to set IDD if using a single supply
(see Single Bias Operation information on page 4).
