14 X 20 MQFP Package Assembly Site Change
Dear Valued Customer:
This notification is for the purpose of informing you of a change by Mindspeed Technologies in the
assembly site location for the products identified below.
Purpose
The subcontractor for these products has informed Mindspeed that it will be consolidating the assembly
locations for the 14 X 20 MQFP packages. Currently, both the Korea and Philippines assembly locations
are utilized by Amkor; however, only the Philippine site will be utilized after February, 2004. Mindspeed
currently utilizes both sites for the 14 X 20 MQFP package and has qualified the Philippine site for
manufacturing this package. Package qualification reports are available upon request.

Change Schedule
Customers should expect to receive products assembled at the Amkor Philippines site beginning March
3, 2004.
Method to identify parts
The product marking and labels will identify Philippines as the country of origin.
Customer Impact
There are no changes to the form, fit, function, or performance of the device.
We are confident this change will allow Mindspeed Technologies to maintain its high standards for quality
