Mindspeed Technologies™, A Conexant Business, is committed to providing its valued customers with
cost-effective products that meet high quality standards. To ensure that commitment, Mindspeed from
time to time must evaluate the features and cost-effectiveness of its current product lines to ensure that
the above goals can be met. It has been determined that the CX28333-15 (Distributor Coded P/N
CN8333EXF) will be discontinued.
Mindspeed intends to honor the standard warranty obligation for this product when ordered and delivered
in accordance with the following dates:
Distributor Final Return Date––06/16/2003
This is the last day for distributors to return inventory. Inventory purchased on or after 06/16/2003 can not
be returned. Orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable.
Last Order Date 05/17/2004
Please assess your product needs and place a Last Time Buy order no later than 05/17/2004.
All orders for the above-mentioned product are non-cancelable and non-returnable. Factory orders are
not accepted after this date.
Final Ship Date–11/15/2004
This is the final ship date. Orders placed in compliance with the above dates will be scheduled for delivery
from Mindspeed prior to 11/15/2004.
Replacement Device
We recommend that customers use the pin-compatible, functionally equivalent, drop-in replacement,
version of this part i.e. CX28333-18 (Distributor Coded P/N CX2833318EXF80). This latest version
offers enhanced RLOS hysteresis and data squelching functions.
Please contact your local sales representative for sample and technical information (Data Sheet # 28333-
DSH-001-A dated 02/25/03) on this suggested replacement device.
