HomePlug Pro Series

high-definition audio/video.
HomePlug Pro PoE – Bringing Power over
Ethernet to the Masses!
Usually Power over Ethernet is a feature only available
to professional networking experts. But now end-
users can take advantage of PLI-3110 as a professional
PoE solution packed in a small device.
What is PoE?
Power over Ethernet allows data and power to be sent
over a single Ethernet cable. This is especially useful
for deploying surveillance cameras around the home
PLI-3110
or office. It’s easy to run a cable up high in the ceiling,
but how are you supposed to send power to the
device?
PLI-3110 is the solution as it follows the 802.3af
standard, offering 15.4 Watts to any PoE-compatible
device.
What if my device isn’t PoE compatible?
No problem! There are very few PoE compatible
devices made for the home. Luckily all you need is a
PoE splitter and you can place your network camera
or VoIP phone anywhere within 100 meters of the
LevelOne HomePlug Pro PoE.
