FVT-0104 Ethernet PD media converter can interconvert electrical signals of 10Base-T/100Base–TX
twisted pairs with optical signals of 100Base-FX. It extends the network transmission distance from 100m
via copper cable up to 20 km via fiber optical cable.
FVT-0104 is a kind of PoE fiber media converter compliant with 802.3af standards, can get power supply
from PSE endpoint or PSE midspan. The TP cable can transmit the data and power supply simultaneously.
It makes the FVT-0104 is the ideal choice for remote areas of the network without power outlets.
