Standard Marking Format Change
C4XX Series “Aximax” Axial Leaded MLCCs
In order to optimize efficiency and improve productivity, KEMET will initiate a change to the current
marking format of all C4XX style/size devices. The following changes will be implemented on October
3^rd, 2016.
First two lines will remain the same, unique lot identifier (used as internal control) will be removed and
Date Code will no longer be included in the standard marking information for these devices. It will be
available as a marking option only. KEMET has established an ordering code C-SPEC to accommodate
customers that require the date code be included in the marking information.
