GHz BGA Socket - Direct mount, solderless
Features
Directly mounts to target PCB (needs tooling holes) with included hardware.
High speed, reliable elastomer connection.

Usage Instructions:
1. Install the socket base assembly on the target
PCB with by threading the 4-40 truss head screws
into the backing plate (orientation is critical, see
recommended PCB layout on page 2).
2. Place BGA package (solder ball side down) into
the socket.
3. Install the heat sink lid onto the socket base
assembly using the 2-56 socket head cap screws.
Turn the screws clockwise until they make contact
with the heat sink lid.
4. Tighten the lid screws using a 5/64" hex key
gradually and equally in an "X" pattern until each
screw has been tightened 1/2 to 1 full turn (note the

socket lid shouldn't rest against the top of the
socket base).
