Description
The Infineon Fibre Channel / Gigabit Ethernet single mode transceiver – part of Infineon
iSFP™ family – is compatible to the Physical Medium Depend (PMD) sublayer and
baseband medium, type 1000 Base-LX1) (long wavelength) as specified in IEEE Std
802.3 and Fibre Channel FC-PI-2 (Rev. 5.0) 100-SM-LC-L for 1.0625 Gbit/s, and
200-SM-LC-L for 2.125 Gbit/s.
The appropriate fiber optic cable is 9 µm single mode fiber with LC™ connector.
