PIN Name
The BiSS and I2C to PC-USB Adapter has an addi- 1 SCL
tional plug for I2C or SPI communication. The USB 2 GND
port supplies the sensors via the I2C plug with 5 V (up 3 -
to 250 mA, through Pin 4 - no galvanic isolation). If 4 +5 V
there is load applied to the BiSS connector, the max- 5 -
imum current supplied via the I2C plug is decreased. 6 -
For more power, an additional external power supply is 7 SDA
recommended (the wall power supply does not supply 8 -
the I2C plug, see Figure 3). I2C multi-master capability 9 SDA
is not provided.
