GW-UDACT Datasheet, PDF (1/3 Pages) Gamewell-FCI by Honeywell – Universal Digital Alarm Communication Transmitter
Description
The Gamewell-FCI Universal Digital Alarm Communicator
Transmitter (GW-UDACT) is designed for use with all
Gamewell-FCI 600 Series Fire Alarm Control Panels. The
GW-UDACT transmits system status to UL-Listed Central
Station Receivers via the public switched telephone net-
work.
The GW-UDACT is compact in size and may be mounted
externally in a separate cabinet. EIA-485 annunciator com-
munications bus and regulated 24-volt connections are
required.
The GW-UDACT is capable of transmitting the status of
software zones (Alarm and Trouble), System Trouble,
Panel Off-Normal, Supervisory, Bell Trouble, Low Battery,
and AC Fail. GW-UDACT is capable of transmitting the sta-
tus of all zones associated with each panel. Reporting is in
the form of software zones or groups (up to 256). Each
zone can be programmed for fire, waterflow, supervisory,
etc.
NOTE: Descriptions regarding point capacity, listed above,
are for receivers which receive in Ademco Contact ID for-
mat. See chart on page 2 for compatible receivers.
Engineer’s Specifications
The Universal Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter
(UDACT) shall continuously supervise the state of each of
two connected Telco Lines (at approximately one-minute
intervals) by a Line-DC level measurement. If supervision
fails, a Line #1 or Line #2 Trouble event will be reported.
Once a line has been restored, a Line Trouble Restored
event will be reported. The product will always report
events sorted in the order in which they are received/recog-
nized. The UDACT shall be capable of reporting multiple
events to a single account number, within a single call ses-
sion. Up to three attempts for a single message not yet
reported will be made within a single call attempt. A failure
to communicate to either or both accounts will generate a
corresponding event which will be queued for reporting.
The unit shall be a Gamewell-FCI model GW-UDACT. The
unit shall be capable of reporting Alarm, Trouble, Supervi-
sory, and Waterflow events and event-specific restorals for
each of up to 256 groups or software zones.
