E3 Series LOC-TEL
Description
The Gamewell-FCI, E3 Series LOC-TEL is a powerful Mass
Notification System that can be used in large-scale indoor
and outdoor building facility complexes. The E3 Series
Expandable Emergency Evacuation System, designed for
Mass Notification Systems (MNS), uses an Autonomous
Control Unit (ACU) with a Local Operating Console (LOC).
The Local Operating Consoles (LOC) provide emergency
communications to be broadcast and remotely distributed
to particular zones or regions on specific floors, buildings
and outdoor locations dispersed over a large area.
The INI-VG Series (Integrated Voice Gateway) can be
installed in either of the following units:
• Autonomous Control Unit (ACU)
• Main Local Operating Console (LOC)
The INI-VG Series can support up to 16 LOC-TEL (Local
Operating Consoles). In addition, the INI-VG Series sup-
plies RS-485 communication to support up to 16 ASM-16
programmable switches for Message, Control and Zone
Paging. The INI-VG Series also provides a signaling line
circuit to monitor and control the AOM-TELF for Voice Live
paging.
Installation:
The Local Operating Console backbox includes a mounting
pattern for the following:
• one Plate-AOM-TEL
• two slot inner door that may contain:
- one INCC-TEL
- one ASM-16 Addressable Switch Module
The following sub-assemblies are components that make
up the E3 Series, LOC-TEL.

• Installed in a 16-gauge steel backbox.
- Enclosure includes a front door with a wide screen
Lexan^® window that displays the INCC-TEL and
ASM-16.
• Contains a keylock or an optional thumb quarter turn
latch.
• Optional trim rings are available.
• Offers distributed architecture.
• Transmits all communication signals and control-by-
event sequences over twisted, unshielded pair of wires
RS-485.
• Each LOC-TEL can support the following:
- one ASM-16 for a total of 16 switches
- one INCC-TEL
- one AOM-TELF telephone control module
