Note 1: The XRP6274 is rated over a junction temperature range TJ of -40°C to +125°C. For a given set of operating conditions,
TJ has to be calculated in order to make sure it does not exceed maximum specification. Use equation TJ= TA + (PD.Ï´JA) where
Ï´JA is the package thermal impedance, TA is the ambient temperature and PD is power dissipation. PD is calculated from PD=(VIN-
VOUT).IOUT
Note 2: Dropout voltage is defined as the input to output voltage differential (VIN - VOUT) where the input voltage is low
enough to cause the output voltage to drop 2% from the nominal value.
