Industrial Surge Protected Converter

UT216 is an industrial strength surge protected
RSR232 to RS422 / RS485 converter powered by an
external power supply. This converter is surge
protected against high voltage spikes and surges for
up to +/-15KV, 600W.
The RS232 interface is a standard DB9 connector
and the RS485 / RS422 interfaces offers a RJ45
connector and a standard DB9 connector.
Overall features:
1. Interface characteristic: RS-232C and RS485/RS-422 EIA/TIA.
2. Electric interface: DB9 female connector for RS-232 interface
Input, DB9 male and RJ-45 connector for RS-422/RS-485
interface.
3. Protection: +/-15KVESD protection for RS-232 interface,
and 600Wsurge protection each line for RS-422 and RS-485
interfaces.
4. Operation mode: asynchronous half duplex or asynchronous
full duplex.
5. Signal indication: LED lights for Power (PWR), Send (TXD)
and Receive (RXD).
6. Transmission media: twisted pair cable or shielded cable.
7. Average transmission rates: 115.2KBPS for 300M, 38.4K BPS
for 2.4KM and 9,600 BPS for 5KM.
8. Dimensions: 113mm x 55mm x 25mm.
9. Working temp: -40 to 85 , relative humidity 5%-95%.
10. Transmission distance: 0-1,200meters (115,200bps-9,600bps).
