USB 2.0 to eMMC Bridge Controller
Description
The MA8138 is a USB 2.0 Multi-Partition SD/eMMC bridge Controller, which partitions the SD/
eMMC card into 3 areas: CD-ROM, Public and Security. The capacity for each partition can be easily
configured by MP tool. The security partition is present in the case of password was matched. For
CD-ROM only application, the public partition can be removed. Similarly, for generic flash disk
application, the CD-ROM partition can be removed and the customized information (VID, PID,
serial number and manufacture strings) can be programmed into the hidden area of SD/eMMC.
The MA8138 built-in MOSFET for SD/eMMC cards power supply, integrate the 5V to 3.3V regulator,
and is crystal-less design in order to save the system BOM cost.
As the MA8138 complies with USB specification Rev. 2.0 and USB Mass Storage Class specification
Rev.1.0, an additional driver under Windows XP/Vista/7, Mac OS 9.x above, and Linux Kernel 2.4
above is not required.

 Auto-run ISO file can be stored in CD-ROM partition.
 Public partition is used for generic pen driver application
 Enable the features and partitions by MP tool
 Support SDHC/SDXC/T-Flash/eMMC4.41 specifications
 Built in 3.3V MOSEFT for SD/eMMC card power supply
