DynaPCN 10-20 features stereoscopic cameras with a built-in
infrared illumination system which provides a high precision
count accuracy in any light and environmental condition.

range operation and low power consumption make the
DynaPCN 10-20 ideal for installation in a variety of transport
applications.
Unobtrusive Installation – The compact design of the
DynaPCN-10-20, featuring an adjustable optical panel, dedicated
I/O lines for door sensor connections and easy integration and
connection of multiple units, makes installation both unobtrusive
and easy.
User Friendly Configuration Software – Enhances the ease
of installation by allowing configuration of features such as
detection and dead zones.
The DynaPCN 10-20 is a compact and autonomous device based on non-contact
stereoscopic vision technology specifically designed for accurately counting
passengers entering or leaving public transport vehicles such as trains, metros
or buses.
Stereoscopic cameras capture images of the area below the device that are
analyzed in real time using by a sophisticated algorithm. The Passenger Counter
algorithm analyses the height, shape and direction of any objects that are
passing the field of view; if it is determined that the object is a person entering
or leaving, the incoming and outgoing counters are incremented accordingly,
along with time information. Thanks to the integrated high luminosity infrared
LED system it can operate in any type of lighting condition.
Tested against extended temperatures and severe vibration levels, the
DynaPCN 10-20 grants integrators the possibility to deploy the system in a wide
range of harsh conditions typically encountered in transportation applications.
The Passenger Counter can be easily flush mounted in the ceiling space above
a doorway. The angle of the optical panel can be adjusted; therefore, it can be
placed in different positions and on non-horizontal surfaces.
Featuring Ethernet connectivity, the DynaPCN 10-20 can be easily and quickly
integrated with an on-board unit that is already available. Eurotech M2M
gateways provide full software support for integrating the DynaPCN 10-20
through Eurotech’s Everyware Software Framework (ESF).
The DynaPCN 10-20 features digital I/O interfaces that are used to directly
communicate with intelligent doors or flow control systems, guaranteeing the
best counting performance.
