to matting caused by misuse of any kind,
including using inappropriate cleaners is not
covered by Desco Limited Warranty.

Description:
Desco’s Statfree® CV280 mat is a 0.080" thick homogeneous polymer matrix of PVC material. It is
designed to provide a flooring surface that does not generate a static charge and will act as part of the
path to ground for an operator wearing ESD footwear. The resistance range (1 x 10⁴ to < 10⁶ ohms
Rtt) will remain low enough to act as a path to ground with normal dirt and grim build up on a floor and
meet the required limit of ANSI/ESD S20.20 Method 1 (<3.5 x 10⁷ ohms) for a flooring/footwear system.
Statfree^® CV280 is a hard flat mat designed for high traffic areas and is good for use under chairs and
carts. To protect ESD floor tiles or minimize maintenance of ESD floor finish in high traffic areas, Statfree^®
CV280 can be used in conjunction with existing ESD flooring. The edges of the mat will not fold or bend.
Each mat is lot coded for quality control and lifespan tracking.

Grounding: This material must be properly grounded for optimum electrical performance. Ask for Technical Bulletin
TB-2000 for mat grounding instructions. Part numbers 15007 & 15008 include 14234 Grounding Kit
Cleaning: For optimum electrical performance, surface must be cleaned regularly using an ESD mat cleaner. We
suggest using our Statguard™ Floor Mat Cleaner. Do not use cleaners with silicone. Silicone buildup will create an
insulative film on the surface.
