INSTALLING & USING TIO
Troubleshooting Guide
1. I hooked everything up and followed the directions, but TIO still won’ t
play.
• Make sure your sound card is functioning. Plug headphones or
powered speakers into the “speaker out” of the sound card.
• With your PC turned off and unplugged, make sure TIO is
plugged firmly into the PC power supply.
• Check the speaker connections, and make sure both the Left
and Right speaker wires are correctly attached to the speakers.
Check your speaker manual if you do not understand how to
connect the speaker wires.
• Make sure both the Left and Right speaker cables are firmly
plugged into the TIO’s “Left” and “Right” jacks.
• Check the cable connecting your soundcard to TIO. Make sure
that one end is connected to the soundcard’s “Line Out” output
jack and the other end is plugged into the TIO’s “Input” jack.
• Once you have verified that all of these conditions are met, exit
Windows and turn off the power to your PC. Restart your PC.
• Is the music / sound source really playing? Check the volume
control in your application. Use the appropriate volume slider
controls to adjust the sound output.
