THICK FILM ROTARY POTENTIOMETER
TYPE PC (P)-199(R)
The PC-199 is a thick film layer resistance rotary potentiometer mounted on a ceramic base. The actuating device
is an isolated rotor with a carbon wiper, operated by a metal shaft. The resistance element is shielded
by a metal housing.
The terminal “a” and “c” (see fig.) are the end terminals; “b” is a central terminal connected to the slider. Terminals
can be pins for direct mounting at circuit board (PC) or solder tags for cables (PCP). Potentiometers with additional
marking “R” are for significently higher running torque. The PC-199 is manufactured with linear characteristic (A)
and can be as standard or hermetic version (H) – on request.
Applications
PC-199 potentiometers are predestined for control function where high dissipation and high stability are necessary,
in industrial control devices.
