Data and signal line chokes
SIMDAD 1812, common-mode chokes
B82789C0/S0
Rated voltage 42 V AC/80 V DC
Rated inductance 11 NH to 100 NH
Rated current 150 mA to 300 mA
Construction
â Current-compensated double choke
â Ferrite I core
â Winding: enamel copper wire
â Winding welded to terminals
â Bifilar winding (B82789C0â¦)
â Sector winding (B82789S0â¦)
Features
â Temperature range up to 150 °C (B82789C0/S0*H)
â Suitable for lead-free reflow soldering as referenced in JEDEC J-STD 020C
â For gold-plated terminals conductive adhesion possible
â Qualified to AEC-Q200
â RoHS-compatible
Function
â B82789C0:
Suppression of asymmetrical interference coupled in on lines,
whereas data signals up to some MHz can pass unaffectedly.
â B82789S0:
Suppression of asymmetrical (by LR) and symmetrical interference (by Lstray)
coupled in on lines. The high-frequency portions of the symmetrical data
signal are decreased so far that EMC problems can be significantly reduced.
Applications
â Automotive applications, e.g. CAN and FlexRay bus
â Industrial field bus systems
â Line cards for telecom
Terminals
Tinned terminals (B82789C0/S0*002)
â Base material CuSn6
â Layer composition Ni, Ag, Sn1)
â Lead-free tinned
Gold-plated terminals (B82789C0/S0*001)
â Base material CuSn6
â Layer composition Ni, Ag, Au
â Gold plated
1) Ni-barrier-plated terminals (NiSn) on request (B82789C0/S0*H052).
