DS4201
For crystals, use parallel resonant, fundamental mode with a CL specification between 10 pF and 20 pF at
the required frequency. Parallel loading capacitors with a value of approximately twice CL are also
required. The connection scheme shown in APPENDIX C should be used.
For external CMOS crystal oscillators, make a connection directly to the DS4201 X1I and/or X2I inputs.
The X1O and X2O outputs must be left floating for this arrangement.

those indicated in the operation sections of this specification is not implied. Exposure to absolute
maximum rating conditions for extended periods of time may affect reliability.
