The 4CX5000A/8170 is useful as an oscillator, am-
plifier or modulator at frequencies up to 220 MHz,
Class AB1 audio amplifier, or as a screen-modu-
lated radio frequency amplifier. The rated plate
dissipation is 5 kW for most classes of services
and 6 kW for Class AB operation.
