4CX25,000A
The 4CX25,000A is a ceramic/metal power tet-
rode intended for use in VHF-TV linear amplifier
service. It features a type of internal mechani-
cal structure which results in high RF operating
efficiency. Low RF losses in this structure permit
operation at full range to 230 MHz in TV linear
amplifier service. The anode is rated for 25 kW
dissipation with forced- air cooling and uses a
highly efficient cooler, which significantly reduces
air pressure and flow requirements and produces
low acoustical noise.
