4CM500,000G
The 4CM500,000G is a ceramic/metal, multiphase
cooled (water/vapor) power tetrode designed to
be useed as an exact replacement for the Thom-
son TH-558. This tube has a thoriated tungsten
mesh filament and pyrolytic graphite grids which
provide high dissipation combined with low
secondary emission characteristics. Base coaxial
contact rings are provided for the filament, grid,
and screen terminals. These are forced air cooled.
Maximum anode dissipation is 500 kW steady
state with multiphase cooling.
