Type 936C Axial Leaded Metallized Polypropylene Capacitor
High Current Flat Axial Leaded Capacitors
Type 936C flat axial leaded meltallized polypropylene capaci-
tors are designed for 20 to 100 kHz switching power supply
input filtering, DC blocking and output filter applications
where high current, high capacitance and low ESR values
are important. Dry sections are sealed with flame retandant
outer wrap and epoxy end seals for moisture resistance.

Operating Temperature Range: –55 ºC to 105 ºC with full rated voltage at 85 ºC,
derate lineraly to 50% of rated voltage at 105 ºC
Dielectric Strength: 200% of rated voltage for 1 minute
Dissipation Factor: 0.10% Max (25 ºC, 1 kHz)
Insulation Resistance: 200,000 MΩ x µF
Life Test: 1,000 hours at 85 ºC at 125% rated voltage

requirement restricting the use of Lead (Pb), Mercury
(Hg), Cadmium (Cd), Hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)),
PolyBrominated Biphenyls (PBB) and PolyBrominated
Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE).
