OVERVIEW
The BCM1000-WCE is a Broadcom communications software solution
for adding Bluetooth wireless technology to Windows Mobile/
Pocket PC operating system platforms. PDA OEMs and electronics
manufacturers can quickly and easily add Bluetooth capabilities to
mobile devices and other electronic products that utilize the Windows
Mobile operating system. This innovative software solution is fully
compliant with the Bluetooth 2.0 + Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) core
protocol specification and leverages BQB conformance testing into your
product.
The BCM1000-WCE is designed for Microsoft Windows Mobile 2005
for Pocket PC and includes the Bluetooth protocol stack, application
programming interfaces (APIs), hardware interfaces, user application
programs, support and trace tools, and documentation. The
BCM1000-WCE is designed to operate on both Pocket PC and Pocket
PC Phone Edition platforms. Leveraging Broadcom BCM1200-BTE
(Bluetooth for Embedded) and BCM1000-BTW (Bluetooth for
Windows) products, the BCM1000-WCE provides simple integration,
powerful diagnostics, and the shortest possible time-to-market—exactly
what you would expect from the experts at developing Bluetooth
wireless communication solutions.
