Description
Avago Technologies’ AFCP-T4X25EL-Series TOSA is
a cooled, 4x25Gb/s, 1310nm transmit optical sub-
assembly, consisting of four high reliability, high
performance EML lasers and an optical multiplexer
to combine the outputs from the four lasers. These
elements are packaged in an hermetic, planar pack-
age with an LC receptacle. The electrical interface
is through two flex connects. The TOSA is intended
for use in CFP, CFP2 and CFP4 modules, serving the
100GBASE-LR4 application, per the IEEE 802.3ba
standard.

• -5 to +75°C case operating temperature range
• 25.78125Gb/s data rate for each channel
- Capable of 27.952Gb/s operation
• Mechanical design suitable for CFP, CFP2 and
CFP4 applications
• LC receptacle, with integrated optical isolator,
electrically isolated from TOSA body
• Flex circuit electrical interface
• LAN WDM wavelengths
