Description
The Avago AFBR-79FIPZ is a 4-channel interoperable
shortwave (iSW4) QSFP+ optical transceiver module
designed for converged network systems. The AFBR-
79FIPZ is capable of supporting either 4x16G Fibre
Channel (FC) or 4x10G Ethernet over a 100 meter link
distance. The device supports aggregate 64G FC or 40G
Ethernet bandwidth for high-density, short-range data
communications and interconnects.
The AFBR-79FIPZ is designed to operate over multi-mode
fiber systems using a nominal wavelength of 850 nm. The
device offers optical interoperability with 4x, 8x, and 16x
Fibre Channel and 10G Ethernet SFP+ modules through
breakout cables.
