Description
The ACPL-M46T consists of a AlGaAs optically coupled
to an integrated high gain photo detector. Minimized
propagation delay difference between devices make
these optocouplers excellent solutions for improving au-
tomotive inverter efficiency through reduced switching
dead time.
Specification and performance plots are given for typical
IPM applications.
Avago R²Coupler isolation products provide the rein-
forced insulation and reliability needed for critical in au-
tomotive and high temperature industrial applications.

The connection of a 0.1 μF bypass capacitor between pins 4 and 6 is
recommended.
