AT42QT1110-AZ
11-key QTouch® Touch Sensor IC
Features
DATASHEET
ï¬ Sensor Keys:
ï¬ Up to 11 QTouch® channels
ï¬ Data Acquisition:
ï¬ Measurement of keys triggered either by a signal applied to the SYNC pin or
at regular intervals timed by the AT42QT1110 internal clock
ï¬ Keys measured sequentially for better performance, or in parallel groups for
faster operation
ï¬ Raw data for key touches can be read as a report over the SPI interface
ï¬ Discrete Outputs:
ï¬ Configurable âDetectâ outputs indicating individual key touch (7-key mode)
ï¬ Device Setup:
ï¬ Device configuration can be stored in EEPROM
ï¬ Technology:
ï¬ Patented spread-spectrum charge-transfer (direct mode)
ï¬ Key Outline Sizes:
ï¬ 6 mm à 6 mm or larger (panel thickness dependent); widely different sizes and
shapes possible, including solid or ring shapes
ï¬ Key Spacings:
ï¬ 7 mm center-to-center or more (panel thickness dependent)
ï¬ Layers Required:
ï¬ One
ï¬ Electrode Materials:
ï¬ Etched copper, silver, carbon, Indium Tin Oxide (ITO)
ï¬ Electrode Substrates:
ï¬ PCB, FPCB, plastic films, glass
ï¬ Panel Materials:
ï¬ Plastic, glass, composites, painted surfaces (low particle density metallic
paints possible)
ï¬ Panel Thickness:
ï¬ Up to 10 mm glass, 5 mm plastic (electrode size dependent)
ï¬ Key Sensitivity:
ï¬ Individually settable via simple commands over serial interface
ï¬ Adjacent Key Suppression® (AKS®)
ï¬ Patented AKS technology to enable accurate key detection
ï¬ Interface:
ï¬ Full-duplex SPI slave mode (1.5 MHz), CHANGE pin, discrete detection
outputs
