11. Serial Interface
All registers are either read-only or write-only (see register map in chapter10). Data is
received via the pin CPURX and sent via the pin CPUTX using a 625kbit/s UART, shown in
Fig. 13 for write and Fig. 14 for read. Data is sent byte-wise, framed by one start bit and one
stop bit.
Each transfer consists of one address byte followed by two data bytes, the low byte is sent
before the high byte. The 7 bit address is contained in the 7 least significant bits of the
address byte. For writes the MSB is set to 0 for reads to 1.
