GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The AD7516 consists of four SPST switches on a mono-
- - -.v"-] lithic CMOS chip. It is intended as a superior replacement
for the CD4016A, and CD4066A offering improved RON
characteristics. It is useful for fast switching of a wide range
Oof digital or analog signal levels - digital or analog signals to
B 15V peak and analog signals to :t7.5V peak. It can be
operated from balanced or unbalanced power supplies.

1. Do not apply voltages higher than VDD and Vss to any other terminal, especially
when Vss ; VDD ; OV all other pins should be at OV.
2. The digital control inputs are zener protected; however, permanent damage may
occur on unconnected units under high energy electrostatic fields. Keep unused
units in conductive foam at all times.
